Don & Lisa Smith

Pastor Don M. Smith and his wife, Lisa, came to this area from the panhandle of Florida. They are the proud parents of two children and four grandchildren.  Their daughter, Malyn, lives in Boiling Springs, South Carolina with husband Brian and three daughters, Skylar, Kaelyn and Kallie. Their son, TC and Courtney, live in Phoenix, Arizona with their daughter, Kinsley. 

 Pastor Don and his family was saved in September of 1992 where they spent the next seven years at Calvary Temple Worship Center in discipleship under Pastor Rick Sarver.

In October of 1995, they felt the call to the ministry. Don was ordained to preach on July 19, 1996 by Art Good of Foundation Ministry. He continued to serve at Calvary as an elder until January of 1999. That is when he received the call as senior pastor at White Double Pond Community Church in Florida. Pastor Don and his family served there until June of 2003, when they felt the call to come to Michigan for further training and discipleship under Pastor Glenn Middleton of Christian Fellowship Center of Sturgis, Michigan. They served there until receiving the call to come to FFM in January of 2004.

Once here they worked with Pastor Jay and the elders to prepare the FFM family for Pastor Jay to step down as senior pastor in March. Once Pastor Jay retired Pastor Don took over as senior pastor of FFM on March 28, 2004.
